Interactive Uber Freight brief
The short version

A dense strategic story, made worth exploring.

01 The brief

Explain a complex acquisition

Communicate the synergies and opportunities created by combining Uber Freight's logistics platform with Transplace's transportation management services, clearly enough for stakeholders to grasp the strategic implications.

02 What I made

An interactive brief, not a static deck

Using the Relayto platform, I built an interactive blog and presentation with clickable infographics, embedded video and interactive timelines, so stakeholders could explore the acquisition at their own depth.

03 The focus

Clarity across every device

  • Responsive, accessible on any screen
  • Intuitive navigation through dense content
  • A clear information hierarchy
  • Research-backed, credible content
The context

When two logistics giants become one.

Uber Freight's acquisition of Transplace was a landmark moment in logistics, but a moment like that is only as valuable as the people who understand it.

A traditional slide deck flattens that kind of story. My job was to make the strategy land: to convey the synergies of pairing Uber Freight's innovative platform with Transplace's comprehensive transport management, in a format people would actually want to move through, rather than sit through.

Stakeholders don't need more slides. They need to explore the story and reach the insight themselves.

How I approached it

Four steps from research to interactive delivery.

01

Research & development

I dug into the logistics landscape, competitive positioning and the rationale behind the acquisition, so the content would be informed, accurate and genuinely compelling.

02

Interactive design elements

Clickable infographics, embedded video and interactive timelines let stakeholders explore the impact of the acquisition at whatever depth they wanted.

03

User experience focus

I prioritised responsive design and intuitive navigation, so the experience held up across devices with a clear, scannable information hierarchy.

04

Final delivery

The result was a comprehensive interactive presentation that communicated the strategic merger implications clearly, and kept people engaged throughout.

The interactive brief

Built to be clicked, scrolled and understood.

Across devices

The same clarity, in your hand.

Stakeholders open content wherever they are, so the experience had to stay intuitive and legible on mobile as much as on desktop.

Responsive views of the interactive experience.

🔒

A note on confidentiality. Part of this project sits under an NDA, so I've kept the strategic detail intentionally light here. What I can share is the approach: research-led content, designed for exploration, delivered as a responsive interactive experience. Happy to talk through the thinking in more depth in a conversation.

What I took from it

Interaction earns attention. Give people something to explore, and complex strategy suddenly becomes memorable.

Working inside a real acquisition, on a live platform, sharpened how I balance dense information with a clear, engaging experience, and how much format shapes whether a message actually lands.
